Move to Miami is run by 28 Digital Studio. This page says what the site collects, why, and who else sees it. You can take the quiz and read everything here without giving us your name or email.
What we collect
- Your quiz answers. Budget, household, how you work and get around, what you like, when you plan to move, and where you are moving from. They are stored with your result so its page keeps working. A result is not tied to a name unless you give us an email.
- Your email, if you give it. We use it to send your results and a sign-in link. Signing in attaches the result to an account so you can find it again.
- Agent introduction requests. If you ask to hear from a real estate agent, we keep your email, the neighborhood, and your timeline.
- Business inquiries. If you write to us about featuring a business, we keep what you put in the form: the business, your name, email, phone, website, budget, and message.
- Usage. Which pages are viewed and how far people get through the quiz, so we can see what is working.
Cookies and browser storage
- A sign-in cookie, set only if you sign in, and a second cookie that tells the page whether to show the signed-in menu.
- Our analytics provider, PostHog, stores an identifier in your browser so that visits from the same browser can be counted as one.
- Your quiz progress is kept in your browser until you finish, so a refresh does not lose it.
We do not run advertising trackers.
Who else sees it
These companies process data for us so the site can run. They do not get to use it for their own purposes.
- Vercel hosts the site.
- Google Firebase stores results, emails, and requests, and handles sign-in.
- Resend delivers our email.
- PostHog provides usage analytics.
Real estate agents. No agent is assigned to any neighborhood yet. If you ask for an introduction, your request waits. When an agent is available for that neighborhood, we will send them your email, the neighborhood, and your timeline so they can contact you, because that is what you asked for. Agents may pay us to be the one we introduce for a neighborhood.
Beyond that, we do not sell or rent lists of people or their answers.
Result pages are public to anyone with the link
A result page has a long, unguessable address and is not listed in search engines. Anyone you share the link with can see the result, including your answers as they appear on the page. It does not show your email.
The API and AI assistants
The site has a public API and an MCP server that AI assistants can use. Reading neighborhood data or computing a match through them stores nothing about you. An assistant can also save a match, ask for an agent introduction, or send a business inquiry on your behalf. Those are stored exactly as if you had used the site, and the assistant is told to do them only with your agreement.
To limit abuse, we count requests that store something. The counts are kept against a scrambled form of the network address or email, not the address itself.
Businesses in the directory
The directory lists businesses using details taken from each business's own website. If you run one and want a listing corrected or removed, write to us and we will do it.
How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted
We keep results, emails, and requests until you ask us to delete them. Write to hello@movetomiami.app from the address you gave us, or send the link to your result, and we will delete what we hold. You can ask for a copy the same way.
Children
The site is for adults planning a move. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If what we collect or who we share it with changes, this page will change and the date at the top will be updated.
